Description
Presentation at ICSC 2009 Western Canada Business Forum in Kananaskis, AB.
Retailers and all other industries are facing increasing challenges due to the economy, increasing competition and, of course, the consumer. Canada’s recessionary impact is not as deep as America’s, yet it is responsible for much of the current consumer’s confidence flux. Competition is not standing still and when the US market becomes more challenging, guess where American companies turn to look for new opportunities? In the meantime, the consumer is raising its expectation and ‘good enough’ doesn’t cut it anymore for them.
